I’m a writer, reporter, and researcher based in Los Angeles.

Recently, I’ve worked with authors on books about the K-12 education system, the teaching profession, and socioeconomic inequality. I led research efforts, in which I conducted interviews, gathered historical and contemporary sources, summarized academic research, and compiled extensive memos. I also assisted with outlining and drafting, and provided editorial guidance and fact-checking.

I hold a master’s degree from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. While at Berkeley I reported on education for Oakland North, housing for the San Francisco Business Times, and the pandemic for KQED. I have experience in audio and video journalism, as well.
